The last couple days I had an a panic attack right after I wake up but now I am trying to fall sleep and I am having one. I have a very unreleastic fear of death and dying. Well the last few days I have had a panic attack the second I wake up because of my fear well now I am having one while trying to Fall asleep is there a way to calm my fear long enough to sleep and I will deal with the one in the morning?

I'm sorry you're having a tough time. What about those apps like Calm where you can do the Daily Calm meditation or the apps with relaxing sounds you can set for a specified time to help you get to sleep? You might also try breathing exercises. Best wishes.

Here's what I have done to help me with my anxiety at night. About a couple of hours before going to bed, I take a mix of supplements that helps calm my nervous system down. All in powder form, I take 1/4 TSP of MAGNESIUM GLYCINATE, 1/8 TSP of NIACINAMIDE, 1/4 TSP of TAURINE, 1/4 TSP of L-Theanine. This really helps calm me down (my heart rate lowers and my breathing becomes normalized). Then I try to relax with some music a bit by listening to my favorite Pandora station. Then about an hour before trying to sleep, I take 8 mg of hemp oil, which is basically CBD oil. And that has helped me sleep when I have had the worst insomnia ever! Hope it works for you if you try it!

Something I do when I'm paranoid about sleep is try to find something to distract me whether that be a calming book or some soothing music. Do you think that videos of like babies might help seeing as they are a sign of life? Meditation and taking time within your mind may help as well try to picture a positive scenario and place yourself in it people call these "happy places". Hope that this helps and you can find some peace!

I will definitely try all these. I have had a lot of problems with sleep over the last few years. I was on a sleep aid but it made have hallucinations so they took me off of it.
