Lately i've been feeling this tightness in my chest, and feels like the breath is trapped in that constricted part of the chest. Also feel like my heart's beating faster. Anybody else experienced something similar? What is it more likely to be, Anxiety? or a side effect of one of my meds? Any insight you can share would be much appreciated.

It could very well be anxiety, a side effect of your meds, or a whole host of other causes. If you recently changed medication that is probably a good first guess. I would definitely bring this to the attention of your doctor.
Thanks for this!

In my case, it's anxiety but it can get much worse if I've taken in a lot of caffeine. I agree you should run it by your doctor. Best wishes.

What you've described sounds like anxiety symptoms.

I've had symptoms like that before. I still check with my doctor to rule out any physical issues.

When I'm having an anxiety attack I have these symptoms and more. I have gone to my doctor with this, just to be on the safe side. Take care.
