So, I just had something happen to me I think might be an anxiety attack or something. I had this feeling of intense worry, impending doom, and ot felt like everything was happening all at once and I was trapped. I was also hyperventilating which made me a little lightheaded. I noticed my heart speed up a little bit too. I just felt trapped and stressed out and like everything was moving so fast and happening all at once.

It sounds like a panic attack.

Yes, try deep breathing, like in yoga. If this continues, you may need to see a doctor.

I agree. It sounds indeed like you had an anxiety attack. A panic attack for me takes this forward several steps in that I feel as though I am going to die.

I'd agree with the panic attack opinion...but there seems to be a fine line between a panic attack and an anxiety attack. I have these sporadically, hyperventilating being the key difference (for me) to distinguish between an anxiety attack and a panic attack. I hope you feel better soon!

Sounds like a major anxiety attack or a minor panic attack to me.

I would say it sounds like a panic attack (extreme fear, feelings of doom or danger, hyperawareness of bodily functions). Always best to get checked out by a doctor though just to be sure there's nothing physically wrong with you.
