I've read from other threads that people have an intense fear or sense of doom during their panic attacks. In my personal experience with them (or what I believe them to be), I've never felt fear, but just extreme anxiety, a lot of sweating, dizziness, and trouble breathing. It's like a 20 lb weight on my chest that makes me wants to run away and hide. Not because I'm afraid, I just want to get away from myself, if that makes any sense. Would this still be classified as a panic attak or something else?

Individuals may differ in their symptoms. I'd call yours a panic attack.

Have you spoken to a doctor about this? It could be a panic attack but it could be something physical......hormones, heart problems..many different things.
