*Warning, may possibly trigger some anxious thoughts in some people.
A coworker of mine recently fell sick and died in a very short space of time, I miss her and and of course feel sad about what happened to her. At first my reaction was to tell those I cared about I loved them, because it made me feel like life is so special and we need to treasure each other while we can. This was no bad thing. However I have noticed I feel worried when someone I care about shows signs of being unwell - one of my friends had a sudden illness (they still don't know what is causing it) recently and I am more worried than I would usually be. It's a worry loop. Do you have these feelings? How do you cope with them? |

I’m sorry about your friend! It is a worry when those we care about are ill. I think I obsess over most things, even though my rational brain knows it does no good.
I guess the way I cope is by checking to make sure I’ve done all I can to help, and if there’s nothing more for me to offer, I just keep get well wishes in my mind for them. Take care Sans |
