I wrote a post on my social media which I thought was funny.Noone really has responded. Now I feel so much anxiety over if I had made a fool of myself even though it was a nice post. I usually don't post much on social media.Does anyone else feel this way??

Well... I'm not on social media as myself. I'm mostly here on PC & also on a couple of other forums where I have a pseudonym. But even so, anytime I post my own thread, after I've posted it... regardless of whether anyone pays any attention or not, I always experience an upsurge of anxiety. Here on PC, I've ended up asking to have some of my threads deleted in the past because it just made me feel too uncomfortable to have them posted.

None of my friends post much anymore, except for one guy who is trying to keep up a following because of his work. Don’t feel bad. No one saw your post. I think if you don’t post you lose your rank in what is shown to others.

That's what I was gonna say. don't know if it was Facebook or another website but fb especially is crap at showing posts.... I'm constantly changing my feed to most recent instead of popular but I swear it's still not showing everything/everyone I follow.

I just find that over the past several years, social media has rendered most forums dead.
