The voice I hear has been really obnoxious this week. I am on 800 mg of Seroquel and it has lowered the 1 voice I hear to a wisper. I don't hear the screaming anymore. I am very thankful for that. My doctor is going to try a different medicine as I keep getting flashbacks. I do hope that your doctor can find the right dose and med to rid you of the voices. There are coping skills... I use... I concentrate as much as I am able on anything I love to do and ignore the voice. It's my own voice telling me horrible stuff in my head. We all know that it is fake... but it can be unbearable at times. I sometimes blast the talk shows or music in my ears to shut the voice up. I feel as though fighting an enemy in the arena and when I come out victorious... I am completely exhausted. I take Xanax for my anxiety. It helps so so much. bless you and hope this helps a bit.... never give up hope... there are so many coping skills and meds out there today xx

Yes. Definitely talk to your doctor. I know that my psychotic symptoms used to be a ton worse than they are now- and thats mostly because I am on an improved med regimen since then.
It can really really help |
