anybody have trouble getting to sleep and also have anxiety????i do.i am a paraplegic who just all of a sudden one night i could not sleep and woke up to a racing heart and started to panic thinking that i could not breathe and i was hot.i opened all windows in my bedroom and it was 19 degrees outside.i woke my wife up and she sat with me until i went to my drawer and took an ambien at 3 in the morning.thank god i stopped taking them almost a year and saved them all.and now for 4 months i am taking them almost every night.if it werent for them i dont think i would sleep at all.i was moving around and doing things to make me tired during the day.now i stay in the house and am hurting everywheres.i think the smallest thing is life threatening.anybody have any experiences and what they r doing to hep them sleep and what r they taking for anxiety?i am taking lexapro and it seems like it is helping some.but also i am doping accupressure and reflexology to deal with anxiety.it really works.ok lets go lets hear from all of u brothers and sisters.p.s i always have a hard time to get a full deep satisfying breath into my lungs.anybody else have this problem??

Hey Troy......It sounds like you're having some issues with anxiety. The great thing that you are doing is asking for help and looking for someone who experiences the same problems. That's one of the most important things you can do. Don't try to deal with all of this on your own. Thank God you have a loving wife. Try not to get addicted to the ambien. Look up natural formulas for sleep with supplements that produce good natural occurring chemicals in your brain.
