Anyone have any experience with anxiety causing psychosis? I currently have to take an anti-psychotic to make it so I don't experience psychosis, but I do not have schizophrenia/schizoaffective or bipolar. My psychologist has agreed that it might be due to a abnormally high anxiety score causing psychosis at those levels. Overall I was just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with this.
Thanks for this!

Yes, I was on antipsychs for a few years due to psychotic types of thinking and mood swings. But over time I worked my way through it, although I need to tread very carefully through life and play my cards right. Yes, it all comes back to my anxiety, particularly social anxiety. I'm still taking certain meds which are helping me - not antipsychs, though.

Are you going okay? Can be a bit of a hairy journey, life.
