I started having panic attacks a while back, and my medication has reduced them. He diagnosed me back then with Panic Disorder.

My Psychiatrist then found out that I'm anxious of going outside, walking in front of windows, leaving my room, and being around people for too long. I'm constantly afraid because "anything could happen". He diagnosed me with Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

Even though I still have panic attacks, is it no longer Panic Disorder because I have something to be afraid of?

Any and all insight is appreciated.

Actually GAD doesn't have specific things you're afraid of, just that you're anxiouis about "everything" in "general" :-) I had that. Panic Disorder would be having Panic Attacks and a Phobia would be fear of something specific.

Good phobia site: http://www.panphobia.com

Good General Anxiety info: http://psychcentral.com/disorders/sx24.htm

You could have both Panic Disorder and GAD both.

and having all three would be....? Chaos?
I've been given the GAD label as well as having panic attacks (for the past decade) and a few phobias that I completely avoid and go into a PTSD response when I have to run into them.

PTSD overshadows the GAD and Panic Disorder, being "causes" of those two I think, Kiya :-) So, you're actually more "organized" rather than chaotic, LOL. Your PTSD has had puppies and you have them in a PTSD box :-)
