One link I have linked to here says you should just wait for the episode to end. But the idea just doesn't sit well for me.

I'm so sorry you're struggling, vafhj I don't think you have to just wait: use your coping techniques, if you know any, to deal with an anxiety attack and don't do anything important or stressful while you do that. After it's over, you will hopefully be able to go on with your life. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this

What else would you want to do?

Like Mickey said, you use the coping techniques that are described in the link. If you read the full article, there's some very useful tips in it. I think it's more focused on knowing that it WILL end.

BTW, if I can't get myself to get excited over stuff, I guess that I could relax myself at least?

OK, so the problem for me now is that while I could make myself a little bit comfortable, I can't fully relax my brain.

You're not alone. I totally feel everything you said. Can I ask if you take medication? I've got a med consultation coming up, and am only doing it to try and find some relief from the attacks. If medication won't help, it's useless for me to take it.

For some reason, my own technique of "out-of-context relaxation" (relaxing myself without minding whether my anxiety is there or not) doesn't even seem to work.

Trust me, if I had access to medication, I would have been on it long ago.
