Hi everyone I don’t want to be annoying but I just had another bout of anxiety. Something I read about an incident that happened 50 odd years ago is really making me anxious. Something awful and evil happened to someone and everyone time I think of what the evil criminals did to this victim it makes me very scared. WHY DID I LOOK AT STORY OF IT ONLINE IN THE FIRST PLACE? It was somewhat intriguing but brutally disturbing. It was made into a horror film and I watched bits of it years ago. WHY?! I know other people were intrigued but then the fact it’s real is so heartbreaking. please please please don’t read something or look at stuff online you find scary because it stays in your mind. Is there something wrong with me? I feel like this isn’t even happening oh why is the world so evil.
Hugs from:

I'm so sorry, Turquoisetree247 You're not annoying, so please keep writing here. Reading or watching scary stuff can definitely have an impact on our mind, so it's best to avoid it if we can. There's nothing wrong with you, I'm sure many people can relate to what you wrote. I'd suggesto to try to distract yourself with some lighthearted stuff. Try to watch some cute or funny video, or maybe a funny film. Try to engage in other activities. What do you usually do to pass the time? Also maybe it'd be best to avoid using the Internet for a little while. Maybe that could help. I'm so sorry you're struggling. Please don't give up. Hopefully things will get better soon. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes. Sending many hugs to you

Thank you - you are so kind. You see the issue is when I watched the film years ago it didn’t scare me as much but just today I looked up bits of the real story and it frightened me and then I felt as though I was on the verge of a panic attack. I’m worried that I took too much of an interest in the film (it did disturb me ) but I kind of forgot it was based on a real story. I feel like an evil person. And then I get thoughts of what if I enjoyed what happened to this person even though it’s awful and it breaks my heart what they suffered. But I like to drum and play the guitar. I also love to walk- it does distract me. But sometimes I feel as if i’m bad and it scares me. I think I might have mentioned this before but I would read of articles in the paper describing bad things(sometimes sexual) and I hope this doesn’t offend anyone Possible TRIGGER WARNING but I would fantasise about people doing sexual stuff to me( r***) and I don’t think this is normal as I was about 11 years old. Sorry that’s sick . But thank you MickeyCheeky- you have a good heart and all that have replied to me before thank you so much

You know what is a good and funny movie A Bad Moms Christmas it has my favorite actor in it Justin Hartley .It is adult related though so I dont know it you would like that or not but it is funny. If you like animals try Homeward Bound it is also very good but sad too.I like to watch atenna tv and Lifetime also Tv land they all have some good shows on.If you ever need to vent dont be afraid I find this place very relaxing and the people here are so nice
