My anxiety was sucky but a Mountain Dew calmed my nerves. Which seemed like the opposite so I wonder if I was having caffeine withdrawals. I hadn’t had any caffeine in over 2 days.

I’m pretty sure what I had yesterday was just really bad allergies and bad anxiety as a result of the allergies. I feel fine today.

Woke up with anxiety in the middle of the night again. Shocking. Not complaining really since I had a few good week or two of sleeping relatively well with no major inconveniences. I’ll try to practice some mindfulness to rock myself back to sleep.

My anxiety isn’t really the issue today. I haven’t had any of my anxiety meds and I’ve had a lot of caffeine.

Hi Mountaindewed,

I deal with my anxiety with a good amount of daily exercise. Inside exercise-I have a treadmill at home...currently I'm waiting on the gyms to re-open with restrictions. The gym provides a distraction from daily life, it is also motivating because everyone at the gym is there for the same thing. Also, I take many outdoor walks throughout the day and enjoy the beauty of nature...this is very calming. It's a matter of the mind focusing on the beauty of flowers, trees, plant life-it's sort of like meditation. It's a matter of finding what makes us happy or what helps you focus on something else besides the anxiety, music, hikes, gaming etc...

It's okay. There was no anxiety, but I need to fix my sleeping schedule. I have been busy with my accounting homework and it's remote learning.

I’m kind of nervous about my doctors appointment in less then an hour. I don’t want to take anything because lately I haven’t been able to to function much after my visteral and Xanax.

Now I have some next level anxiety because I found out when I’m returning to work.

Is it possible these anxiety meds made my anxiety worse?

I'm a little anxious this evening. I'm not sure what to do with my time and when I try to sleep, I just keep waking up.

I went about 24 hours without any Xanax. Then the current events really hit me hard. Now after Xanax I feel alright. Not perfect but like I can manage. If I come out of this with just a bad addiction to Xanax, that’s fine with me.
