I know that sometimes when I wake up I have very bad anxieties I dont know why or how it happens but it does.There is such things as anxiety dreams.I dont remember dreaming about anything yet I will wake up shaky and needing a pill. It is awful feeling like you cannot relax.Wish there was a way to fix this but I just dont think there is

This will sometimes happen to me but especially when I wake up suddenly at night. I don’t even have bad dreams either when it happens. I just wake up incredibly anxious. Then I’ll drink water and I can feel the anxiety in my throat. It passes in a few minutes It’s werid.
I either read it somewhere, or a doctor told me, but it’s possible to have anxiety attack’s in your sleep. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

I wake up most every day feeling like a battle rages on. I’m in a war, but my enemies say it’s just my attitude. There’s no war. They all LOVE me. Sure, yeah, right.......

I wake up like this often as well. It's frustrating because I don't know when it will happen or whether or not it will be severe enough that it interferes with my being able to function and do what I need to do for the day. I have panic attacks and they are the most debilitating. I often wake up from a nightmare with one.
It sucks, believe me I know. I even surrendered to finally taking meds. It has helped some, but it's not realistic to expect meds to solve it all. I'm in therapy and as tough as it can be sometimes, I do feel it's helping as well. I wish you luck & hope you find some relief. |

You know I have had people tell me that they loved me only to find out later they lied.You can tell.when they arent sincere.

I very much relate to the OP and experience frequent morning anxiety right after waking and recurring anxiety dreams as well along with lingering panic upon waking. The morning pattern is actually quite well-known to relate to normal daily fluctuations of cortisol and other chemical levels, which tend to peak at that time. Google "morning anxiety cortisol".
For me, it helps me to know it is primarily just how my brain interprets chemical fluctuations and it is best to ignore it as it goes away pretty soon after I get going and as the day progresses, however uncomfortable and confusing initially. It really sucks but, I think, it is better to try to recognize it for what it is primarily: a physical condition affecting emotional regulation. One thing that made this pattern of my anxiety much much worse in the past was drinking alcohol and being hungover (that's where the anxiety tended to be the worst), it's much more mild now that I don't drink at all. Cutting down on caffeine and forcing myself to eat some healthy breakfast (to eliminate the anxiety-increasing effects of low blood sugar) also help.
