I have general anxiety disorder that can be bad at times but I do have it under control so I can function and work a part time job. I am also on the spectrum and I most likely have traits of selective mutism. It’s gotten kind of bad at work lately and I think people are noticing. I have a couple good friends and I can laugh and joke with them freely. But if a manager comes by, even if I’ve just been laughing I freeze up and basically shut down. I have trouble getting my words out and it’s difficult to talk to them. When they leave I go back to talking with my friends.
One manager never really payed much attention to me before, but now she’s paying a lot of attention to me and not in a bad way. She compliments me and just try’s to have conversations with me. I do my best to talk with her but it’s hard. I think she is just curious about me and I’m wondering how to handle the situation if she starts asking me questions. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |
