Does anyone have any good tips for communicating an important message when anxious?

I need the other person to hear me and let me try to do it my own way. They are a professional but other professionals have the same opinion as me. Its not black and white and the chance to try things my way to ease my anxiety feels like the right way forward.

It would not be easy to change professionals at this stage.
