My mom’s husband is taking a trip to FL soon which means she’ll be alone. I have this crazy fear that she’s going to choke on her meds or food. I don’t know where it comes from because she’s never choked before but I’m really terrified. I live alone myself so I guess people could worry about me too. Any reassurance is appreciated.

I am sure she will be just fine.

as long as she eats slowly, as long as she eats in a good position (like sitting down, rather than, rather than lying down or moving) and as long as she drinks plenty, she will be okay.
