I really try to practice mindfulness and question my thoughts.
“Why am I feeling this way?” “Are my thoughts rational? Are they based in reality?” “These thoughts are a part of my disorder and are simply that - thoughts.” The mindfulness helps me put perspective on what I am thinking about. Trying to focus on the present moment and not question what I am thinking / experiencing. |

Is there anything that impoves your mood or you feel less stressed while doing that? For example listening to music, or doing exercise than do that things. As @convalescence practice mindfulness this is the best thing you can do to get relief from stress and anxiety.

Personally, my mood stays somewhat the same through the day and my mood doesn’t effect my anxiety too much. However, every so often there are factors out of my control. My mood may be unstable, my anxiety high and life stressors pile on top of it all. This is a recipe for disaster. When too much is out of my own control, my anxiety escalates.
Dealing with stress is easier for me because I can easily turn my attention to a new set of tasks or a fun or special project. I do need to remind myself to slow down. Daily, I practice ways to keep focus. If I need to remind myself to keep pace, I give myself those reminders. I try to remember that it is ok to build up to a goal or set of goals and that no one is perfect. |

Unfortunately, I think with everything I do, there is always stress and anxiety. Even things I used to like doing, I don't anymore because it's overshadowed by my stress and anxiety. I can't do anything without having a million things run through my head and then I talk my self out of it.
