That's a form of anxiety, right? I don't know. There's no thread for insomnia. I'm sure most of you have seen me online only during specific hours not considered to be daytime in the USA. I don't mind much, but my lack of sleeps for anywhere between 4-15 days is concerning my doctor and my family. I don't necessarily feel exhaustion, but I can *tell* when I need to sleep.

Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't. It doesn't bother me much bc I can get some uni work done while everyone's asleep.

Maybe that's it. Maybe it's other issues I can't post publicly - but the insomnia has existed since I was 13, so it's not likely

Insomnia has many causes to it. Have you had a sleep study done yet? That will give you an answer to what is causing your insomnia.

Anxiety can *cause* insomnia but insomnia is not a form of anxiety. It can be the result of anxiety, or health problems like heart disease, sleep apnea, segmented sleep, etc.

I would ask your parents to help you schedule a sleep study with a sleep clinic.

I struggle to stay asleep. It's about 4am right now. This is the first time in a few months I've gotten up because I couldn't sleep. Rumination sucks.
