I was taken off lorazepam in October of 2019. Now I have horrible panic attacks. They last 45 minutes to 5 hours. I used to have them about every 3 days and they would last for 4-5 hours. Now I have them everyday but they only last 45 minutes or so. Sometimes I have 2 a day.

This is a thread of keeping track of them. I had 2 today, but they only lasted 45 minutes. I can deal with that. The 4-5 hour ones were unbearable.

I'm on several medications to cope with them including gabapentin, buspirone, hydroxyzine, zyprexa, and viibryd. They help to a point. But I still have panic attacks.

I'm hoping the longer I'm off lorazepam, the less frequent I will have them.

Anyway if you want to participate in this thread feel free to. Thanks and have a good day.

Did you slowly wean off the lorazepam?? That sucks you’re still experiencing withdrawals!! Or what I’m assuming is withdrawals. How are you feeling?

Yes I weaned off. Took about 9 months. Thanks for asking how I am! I'm pretty much always on edge. It sucks. How are you doing?

had a night of intense flashbacks last night so was quite hard to work out where I was, and if I was safe

2 wasps in the house at the moment and I'm alergic.

not good: but at least the room they are in has a closed door
