Is anyone else having severe anxiety about the COVID Vaccine? I don’t feel comfortable taking it but don’t feel comfortable not taking it as I have had COVID and it was horrible. I am worried about the side effects and dying from taking the vaccine. But then also worried about dying from COVID. I don’t feel comfortable doing things this summer being unvaccinated. Its a tough spot to be in.

I was concerned about the side effects but I figured it was worth it not to get Covid and be able to resume my life. The first shot was more physical side effects that lasted 24 hours. But I got a very scary psychiatric reaction to the second one that lasted several days.
But now I can eat out and I still wear my mask but I feel a lot safer with the vaccine even though the side effects were bad. __________________ I'm Blue |

If you feel comfortable sharing, what was the psychiatric reaction you had to the second shot? |

I had bad anxiety and depression and a bit of paranoia and I was also having a reaction to the ceiling fans. The spinning was getting to me. Also when I’d drink cold water I felt like it was contaminated because I could feel a shock like feeling in my brain when I drank it. But I called my doctor and he said it was just a normal reaction.
