Gee... I've never posted in the Anxiety Daily Check-in threads before that I can recall. But I certainly have plenty of anxiety it seems although my anxiety seems to be more physical than mental if that makes any sense. In other words, I'm not typically anxious / worried about anything in particular. But my body is in an anxiety-like state pretty-much 24/7/365. The only thing I can figure is I lived with so much anxiety for so many years my body doesn't know how to exist any other way. Anyway... thanks for keeping the Check-in thread going. Perhaps I'll try to post here from time-to-time.

My anxiety is super high bc it's payday and we have very little leftover after bills. I am on ssdi and my wife has been trying to get ssdi for 10 years and cannot work so both of us are living off just my ssdi. It's a tough and sparse existence but we manage. I talked with my therapist today and that helped.

My anxiety was weird today. My meds got messed up last night on purpose and I think I have some post PMS as well. I took all my night meds and a Tylenol super early and I also got my weekly injection this afternoon instead of early tomorrow like I usually do. So I feel somewhat better. I don’t know what the exact cause of my kinda panic attack was though.

I just took an extra 20 Geodon and a 4th Valium. I only took a 20 Geodon this morning. So I guess it all balances out. At least I hope it will. I haven’t taken any melatonin yet.

I just had a brief panic attack. I was looking for my Xanax since I had taken 3 Valium basically at one time and I was still anxious. I had no luck finding the Xanax. But I took a Geodon 20 and then the Valium started working and I was able to calm down. These bouts of anxiety have been coming on really suddenly and I don’t know why. I know I had caffeine today but I was fine until it just hit me.

My anxiety has been fine today. I’m starting to need a second Valium and I’m a bit concerned because it seems like when I take a second one my anxiety gets really bad. I took one at 2:30 this morning and it worked fine. But when I take more then one it’s problematic. But going without them isn’t an option either.

I took the second Valium and I ate some zucchini. Then things were ok until they got bad so I took the 3rd one and it’s just kind of sitting there. So I don’t know what’s up. I chugged 20oz of water with each one.

I feel anxious because it's late and I don't know what to do with myself. Seems like my only option is to go to bed. Maybe I can meditate.

I got asked why I was on Valium today. It was the only med I was questioned about. Isn’t it obvious it’s for anxiety? That is a serious drug to be on regardless of what else it’s used for. I read the other day it’s one of the most addictive drugs on earth.

Today my anxiety is in between being fine and being a existential crisis. If I stopped ****ing with my regular meds then maybe things wouldn’t get so out of control.

Pretty bad. Distraction has easing it a bit.

I have my first non essential non Thanksgiving vacation for the first time since October 2019 coming up in a couple weeks. Its usually a yearly thing but last year I skipped it for personal reasons. But I know I should be really looking forward to 3 days at the beach but I’m nervous about seeing a few family members I haven’t seen since I started transitioning. I know everyone will be really nice and supportive. But it’s still just the whole idea of first seeing them. But I know going on vacation will help a ton with my overall depression.

I kind of need a Valium right now just because it’s that time of the day where things start to get sucky for me. But the Valium makes things worse. So it’s like do I want bad physical anxiety from not taking the Valium or do I want bad emotional anxiety as a result of it.

My Valium is a lose lose situation basically.

Edit: I only took one Valium today and I feel pretty good. I thought the whole idea of walking for your mental health was just a bunch of hoo ha. But I took a 52 minute walk today and my mental health has been the best it’s been in awhile and I think it was the walking.
