My doctor says I should have it done. He’s writing it so it’s medically necessary because I’m having actual symptoms. But I got a letter today from the place and they need my insurance card info and some signatures so they can bill insurance.
I am freaking the **** out right now because I really really need to get this done to help stable my mental health. Should I be worried about this letter or is it a good thing?

Sorry you're having trouble with that. Sounds frustrating and anxiety-provoking. I always get that way when dealing with insurance. I dread calling them about anything.
Are there things you can do to distract yourself while you wait to see if insurance will cover it?

Everyone is telling me it’s a good letter. That the insurance just wants me to sign it so they can go ahead and pay for it. They just want my consent that it’s ok.
So I guess it’s not anything to totally panic about. I just have to get through this day and then I have therapy tomorrow and hopefully I can just drop the letter off at the doctors office instead of mailing it so they will have it right away.
