My new psychiatrist requires my previous psychiatrist to write a letter stating that she (the new psych) can prescribe Klonopin for me. I don't know why.

The previous psych isn't responding. I can't get through to him.

I know that medicine affects everyone differently, but do you take an anti-anxiety drug other than Klonopin that works well for you?

I use 10mg or half of that cannabis gummies for anxiety and sleep. Charlotte's Web website is very soothing. I use this rarely, but when I need it , I need it!
I rejected the whole supposedly unmotivated pot smokeing ethos decades ago, but there are many ways to use cannabis legally now.

@luvyrself, I have had bad reactions to edibles. They make me feel depressed but I've never tried 10mg gummies. I'll give that a try. Thanks .

anxiety is on my bipolar spectrum; been dealing w/that and insomnia for nearly 40 yrs.; now also am a post-coved long hauler w/lingering symptoms. i live in az where marijuana is legal and i would buy a vape pen with the oil or whatever it is, that was specifically for anxiety. since becoming a long hauler, neurologically my brain wiring is messed up and the vape and some other rx now work opposite to how they're supposed to work. just bought some 10mg. gummies and told salesperson i specifically need them for sleep tho i have been taking 3rx for horrible insomnia for years. been on small portions of klonopin for prob. 30 yrs. so it's doubtful i could ever get off klonopin; but now i'll cut that 10mg. gummy in half around 3pm and it works very well to chill me out and kill the anxiety.

I've tried almost everything. Kratom helps a little. But not near enough. Keep looking. Keep trying. RL social interaction is probably always gonna be more painful than comforting to me.
I'm focusing on one person for three years and still get nervous when we talk over the phone. Extremely nervous when we video chat.

So I might have to sacrifice my liver for my heart in order to be with her.
Idk.
I'll see my doctor soon and try a new med I guess.

There's gotta be a way that doesn't involve alcohol
