Messed up with my ativan prescription. I was told a month ago that I needed to see the dr every 4 months and to schedule an appt asap. They did reflill my Rx that time. I have been in a deep depression and forgot all about making that appt. I have had in the back of my mind just quitting taking it but yesterday had a terrible anxiety attack and now afraid to be without it.

I contacted dr office and first appt is June 6. The PA said he will tell dr that I have the first appt possible and try to get a refill for the time remaining.

Now I'm waiting to hear back and am crying and shaking. What if she won't refill. I'm not physically dependent but obviously emotionally dependent.

I read here all the time and it comforts me. I am very shy about posting.

If dr won't refill Rx can I go to urgent care for Rx? Do they do that?

So sorry that happened to you. I suffer from panic attacks so my really goes out to you. I hope they will be able to refill your prescription before June 6!

Doctor has still not responded to my request. I am going bats here waiting, waiting. My anxiety is really bad, heart pounding and weak.

If she doesn't approve the refill is it possible to go to urgent care and get a prescription? Does anyone know? It certainly will be urgent but I just don't know whether they can/will prescribe.
