I am gonna do my best to explain this. I am working with two people who are diagnosed with ADHD, 1 woman and 1 man we have become friends. We wear hanging out the other night and I felt like she was being really flirty with me, I reciprocated a little bit. Now I feel weird and I feel like the “vibe” has changed. I’m interested in her but if she was just feeling a bit horny that night I get that that’s part of ADHD from time to time but I’m feeling like I acted creepily. I don’t know, does anyone have any advice? Did I act badly? Should I try to talk to her about it or just let it go?

Try not to overthink it and just let it go, I'd say.

Yeah everything seems to be fine now. I was doing what people with anxiety disorders do and catastrophizing.

I’m also just lonely and I feel like I’m not the kind of person one falls in love with. When someone gives me attention like that I tend to glom on to them.

It's sounds like you have a grip of what's going on. You are self-reflective and that's a good thing; of course, being self-reflective involves some degree of suffering.
I think you have the answers... Maybe boosting yourself with other interests / people will perhaps help you feel less lonely?? |
