Hello brokenfriend.

I think I have nontreatable anxiety too. I'm on three anxiety meds and STILL have episodes of severe anxiety. Also I understand about how you feel unsuccessful because of your anxiety. Anxiety disorders are debilitating! It has prevented me from doing certain things too.

I just hate it. I hate anxiety!!!! It sucks we all have to suffer through it!

Gabapentin, diazepam, Lamictal, trazodone, seroquel, metformin, Cymbalta, prazosin, loxapine.... whew! Lots of meds!

Also, I hate how no one takes anxiety that seriously! Even pdocs don't (well... depending on who you have. I've had doctors take it seriously, including my current pdoc, but others... not so much).

It just sucks! It's like no one understands!

I agree. I think it's our culture, we are told to stay positive about everything or to just "snap out of it". No wonder there's a mental health crisis in this country and COVID exacerbated it. American culture is indifferent to mental health.
