I thought a lot about death yesterday

or, to be more exact, how much I am going to miss eating mcdonalds when I die.

I really am, loads. Mcdonalds is my favourite thing of all and I'm not ready to say goodbye to the chicken mcnuggets just yet..

It's the dumbest thing in the world but Drew hasn't posted anything on Threads or Bluesky for a month and I'm genuinely equal parts scared that maybe I did something to cause him to leave and that something happened to him and he's not well or something.

I know I'm more than likely just overthinking it and he's busy, but I can't help feeling scared. It's enough to make me want to leave social media.

I felt kind of anxious in the afternoon and maybe some now because my brother is going to the gym and I'm going to be alone. My parents are overseas and won't be back until Sunday.

I am feeling anxious/ unsure about tomorrow

basically, I've ended up with two coppies of a dvd and want to sell one. in order to do that, I need to go in to town and register at the store which means I need to talk to a stranger

the horror... I may not go, and just keep both copies

plus: I've not done very well today in terms of being present (abuse memories), Sso I don't know if it is the best idea..

can't say I feel great about the fact that I'm going to have a woman do my nails tomorrow

she's coming round to do them professionally and her name is caroline. hate people touching me I don't know, but I did ask for this (for professional nails, so it's my own fault)

I've been having pretty bad anxiety for hours. This is unusual for me. Mostly I deal with recurring depression. That's bad enough on its own, but anxiety feels a hundred times worse than depression.

It's so stupid but I get anxiety when my mom uses my mugs. It almost feels like I'm being robbed, dumb as that is, even though I know she's not going to actually take them.

We all like our things. It can be unpleasant seeing other people take or use them. That’s a normal feeling.

I have a lot of anxiety related to eye floaters, which are permanent defects in vision that can be seen more in well lit enviroments.

I have an absurd ammount for my age, probably in the top 1% of the population, maybe related to too much screen time and a lot more appered a year ago.

It's rather difficult knowing these things will never go away, except with an expensive and somewhat risky elective surgery that would cause other problems along the way.

I also worry about more and more showing up, sigh, I've been anxiety ridden my whole life but this feels like a turning point, specially because it's so isolating since most people don't suffer from them at my age or if they do they're usually few.

Still, I keep trying to adapt, settle and get it together as best as I can.

I don’t know your age but I’ve had floaters since I was in my 20’s! Over 40 years! Very scary when it first happened. The doctor told me they are more common in very near sighted people which I am. They are distracting and annoying, especially on white or light backgrounds. I once had one that was dark enough to look like a centipede floating in my eye!

I’m scared of laser surgery so deal with hassle and expense of new glasses every few years. And I’m scared to death of cataracts. Surgery is the only way to remove them.

My recent anxiety simmered down. I just hate anxiety, and I don't often get it. Usually I just get depressed. When anxiety comes on top of depression, I feel awful.

I have started to recognize that I get anxious more in the afternoon/ evenings, and I'm actually wondering if it's because my body is starting to shut down and it just thinks.. forget it, I can't fight anymore.
