I just had bad anxiety.

I thought I wouldn't even be coming back to this thread . . not anytime soon. I don't really have ongoing problems with anxiety. Well, I just had an awful attack of mental and emotional anxiety. It hasn't even stopped yet.

Panic attacks. Don't know what to do! I called NAMI hotline but they were closed today.

You can always try the 988 line if you are in the United States. I've called them a bunch, well actually texted or chatted with them, and they have always been really helpful.

How is my anxiety? Up there today because of issues with gender dysphoria and being on hormones and thinking it's really better for me to ween off them. The fear of discovery too....

Sometimes I get anxious about being anxious. Then it spirals downward after that. I just want the night to end so I can get up already as bedtime isn’t what it used to be: Reprieve and escape. Thanks to an upstairs neighbor who’s a night owl and the effing laminate flooring they use now instead of carpet, I get awakened or find it harder than usual to nod off.

That's why I stopped living in apartments - couldn't stand the noise. I almost threatened a neighbor once because his kid was running back and forth across the floor. I live alone now in a house, thank god.

If only I could afford it I’d left this effing place years ago with the nearest neighbor 1/4 mile away. Crap landlords put in flooring since they don’t live with it and can ask for more money for it.

Anxiety is pretty bad today. I am hoping it will be better in a little while. I am thinking of taking an as needed medicine.

I'm not having anxiety today. I hope this continues till I catch up on stuff I need to get done. My recent anxiety was disabling, and the nights were awful.

Saw new therapist today. Got nervous and felt my anxiety rising. It's automatic, I can't control any of it. He doesn't know if he can help.

Anxiety is pretty bad right now. It's just work deadlines I think. But I am waiting on other people so I can do my work. Kind of stressful!
