I have panic disorder. Last visit, my pdoc suggested I use a SAD lamp to help with anxiety. I've always heard of lamps helping for seasonal depression, but can they help anxiety?
Anyone use a SAD lamp for anxiety & if so, does it help? __________________ Bipolar 1, PTSD, anorexia, panic disorder, ADHD Seroquel, Cymbalta, propanolol, buspirone, Trazodone, gabapentin, lamotrigine, hydroxyzine, There's a crack in everything. That is how the light gets in. --Leonard Cohen |

I’ve thought about it, and I too would be interested to hear from anyone who’s using one.
At the moment I try and go outside as soon as I get up, with the aim to get at least 15 minutes of daylight, and then try and get as much daylight as I can in the first third of the day. I also take vitamin D, which I think does help my mood. __________________ Jeff |
