I have been having obsessive thoughts about infidelity for a while now and I wonder how is it that I can come to a point of just acceptance. I have learned to deal with it by not allowing myself to get frustrated by it and that I have to not allow it to make me anxious. Also, is it common for someone to obsess about something that has nothing to do with my life? Infidelity has played no role in my life at all. I have never cheated nor have I ever been cheated on, so I often wonder why I have these thoughts.

I'm not sure about the why, but I find saying a prayer really helps. Just asking for blessing for someone, or for strength and peace.

Best wishes
