hi, i was just wondering has anyone else experienced the rushing thoughts when a person walks by u...i always freak out...and panic. Mind u, its not like i look like im freaking out, but on the inside all these thoughts are rushing "should i look up..should i smile...should i say hi....should i just walk by them" its the worst feeling in the world to me. because at college, u pass sooooo many people...and i just really hate dealing with it. i was hoping other people have experienced this and can tell me their horror stories lol

Usually, I experience the same thing, but instead of anxious thoughts, it's violent thoughts. I keep thinking "If he insults me/If he laughs at me/If he tries to degrade me, I will kill him", and I usually just stare into their eyes while the uncalled-for hate broils inside me and they get far away. I think of so many horrible things to do to them, and it doesn't cause me anxiety or anything after the person's gone (but when my mind clears up, I think "Whoa, I almost went crazy" and dwell on the subject). I have a set period in which I fall into these moods, which is like a few weeks/months, then tranquility and energy. But, heh, I'm probably bipolar. keep breathing....just keep ur head down

These anger attacks don't have a cause, either. I might be walking down the sidewalk after saying "Hi!" to a friend and laughing around, then all of a sudden I get this horrible anger and hope someone attacks me so I can destroy them and still have an excuse to get away with it.

By the way, I'm a college student too! keep breathing....just keep ur head down

Hi Sarah, so you don't know how to react to people? Do you think that this is related to teasing?
