Dear friends,
let me give you a intro..im a 26 yo male working and i love my job in sales, just bought a house with my girlfriend of 3 years, and we just found out we are pregnant, about 2 weeks ago i went out to dinner with a customer, and had some fish. I woke up about four hours after going to bed , to my heart pounding and my stomach hurting. i went to the hospital, thinking i was having some kind of heart attack, waited in the emergeny room for 3 hours, felt a little better and then left, then two nights later same thing ate dinner , heart started pounding and cold sweats, chills came over me, really scared me. So next day i went to a doctor, he said it was anxiety, so i started reading about anxiety, i didnt really have any of the symptoms, im not scared in social situations, not really scared of things, not nervous or anxious, so i wnt to a different doctor who told me i have a rapid multilplying bacteria and gave me antibiotics to treat it. did those for a week, and much better, now at about 7:00 at nigh i start too worry about the sign i had from before, i keep on telling my self im of and the antibiotics killed it, but that startled me a bit, does any one have any suggestions on how i can stop doing this to my self...and sorry i was so long winded ,thanks for listing....

Maze, This would be a new one on me. Do you still have anxiety symptoms now or just worry that you are going to? It sounds like your doctor determined what the cause of your problem was and if you are having no more symptoms I would think that after a while the worry would go away. If it is too bad maybe you could speak to your doctor again. Sorry I could not be of more help to you. Perhaps someone else can be.

Take care.

maze, welcome

it sounds like your having understandable anxiety about the pysical illness you had and its affect on you.

i think time will help you with this. i think after a short period of time, your body will realize the infection's gone and be able to calm down. well, that's what i hope i should say.

be safe and let us know,

kd
