Hi Everyone,
I am still new to the board, but I have decided that in order to lessen my anxiety over EVERYTHING (generally having some kind of serious illness...mental or physical), I need to stay off PC and the internet in general. All these google searches and info I am finding on PC, as helpful as this site is, are working me up into a frenzy in an effort to self diagnois and turning me into a hypochondriat(sp?) and have me obsessing over the craziest things...my new obsession is the thought of having schizophrenia lol (if you have read a previous post in this forum--you'd know where that thought came from). One original thought leads to another and leads to another and before I know I worked myself up to the point where I'm crying out of fear, my heart is pounding..and well you knw the rest. lol. It's really not funny, but it sort of is when I go back and think about all the crazy stuff I think....

So I will be back next week sometime with an update on how my first T appointment went(it's just an intake appointment)---of course I am semi anxious about it, but because of my overwhelming fear of losing my mind is greater than my fear of going to therapy now, I can not wait to go and just start getting everything OFF my chest and off my mind! ... ttyl. You all are fabulous!

Self care is good lifelesstraveled.

I wish you luck with therapy and hope to hear from you again.

You are an inspiration, you are taking good care of yourself. I look forward to reading how your intake went.

Sometimes I've had to give myself a break from all web activity too.

I think we all need a break sometimes. I'm glad you know yourself well enough to know when it's time to step back for awhile. See you in a while! Take care.
