i have bipolar and OCD, i sometimes feel that OCD is a result of bipolar, but living and coping with bipolar, i've found that OCD is a great help to keep my mind at rest.
do the two tend to go together?? just curious if this is the case, it would also help if i could have some advice on how to cope with it at college, without making it difficult for me thanks jo |

Hello jai-jai, it's not unusual to have anxiety and depression, or bipolar and OCD. They may or may not be a connection between the two. Quite often though people who check over and over are actually keeping/making things feel safe. It's when the safety checking gets out of hand that it causes a problem. In my experience the OCD can be down to an underlying anxiety.
Therapy would be very helpful. ![]()
