please...
just tell me that I can do it. That I can get through this semester.
I made the dumb choice to take 6 courses, plus go back to work, plus play ringette (which is a big commitment as well since I'm on the exec committee).
everything listed above was my choice... but not really. I'm taking an extra course because i'm behind a credit... i'm working because i'm a student with very limited funds... and well, I play ringette because it keeps me moderately sane.
I'm just freaking out a little.
please tell me I can do it.. even if you don't think I can

that's a lot of stuff to handle in one semester. is there any possbility of your being able to drop a course and it not affect your gpa?
if you didn't have to work it might've been more mangeable. i will be plugging for you. i know it's not much encouragement but others have done it..my son for one. full time work and full time school load and he stayed on the dean's list. so yes it's very possible but i'd also consider dropping a course just to give you a little more balance in your life. keep us posted cuz we care.

Whew!! You have a lot on your plate!! And when you have a lot on your plate, it's time to get a bigger plate or remove some of the stuff. All of your stuff sounds like it's pretty important so it's time to get a bigger plate!! How?? Add in "you" time--when you are studying, put the pencil down for 5 minutes and take deep breaths and say to yourself how strong and smart you are. When you are overwhelmed with your classes, close your eyes for a moment, tell yourself to "stop" and then tell yourself that you will survive this and you'll do great! Don't slack on the sleep either because being tired makes your plate smaller!! I know you can do it!

Thanks you guys.. even just reading that makes me feel a little better.
I do have the option of dropping a course if i find it too hectic, but i'd really rather not if possible.

I need a bigger plate - lol thanks can'tstopcrying I needed that smile.

Hugs to you all

If you find that you can't grow your plate, please pay attention to any warning signs that it might break, okay? Play ringette, but sleep well, eat well, and work hard. If after that something has to give, please don't be too hard on yourself. I'm wishing you all the best this term!

Hugs!

When I take on a lot of stuff I just remind myself that it is temporary and try not to think of everything all at once so I don't start feeling overwhelmed.

You can definitely do it

((((((((((((tumnus, Strawberry, Minime)))))))))) Thanks for your words of encouragement.

I'll do my best to pay attention to warning signs, and if necessary, cut something back to make a little more room on my plate.

hugs to everyone
Jacq
