At my school, the up coming 8th graders (me, Dx) get to be in the plays the school shows next year. Well..I signed up. Which is odd but I want a chance to get be a little more lively..or at least be in the plays.

I just might freak out and not go..but I signed up. Anybody know how to get over my stage frights and do this? The auditions are on June 4th..and I have time to find a poem. Well...

I need help. Anybody know how to get over being shy >.<?

You have to understand why you are shy. I was shy and realized it had to do with my self worth. When you don't feel to good about yourself you don't want to stand out and be noticed. So I worked on my self worth..... Social skills have something to do with it too. If your parents didn't teach you too many you have to learn them on your own.

Practice as much as possible, and feel more confident in your work. That is genereally what helps the most, and not truy to practice Shakespeare or something unnecessary at First LOL. Maybe even talking to some of the teachers to get an idea of what is necessary to try out is a good option as well. Even a practicce buddy or Coach is good too, if you have a friend that is willing to spend the time with you to practice. Take care. Frankki. Pm anytime. Soidhonia
