I rely on 1 to 2 Klonopin a day but always did and it didnt help. But at 40 I think my anxiety days are finally about over. I have had this disorder since I was a teen. So glad its gone. No one in the world knows what true anxiety and/or panic attacks are unless they have personally had to go through it.I have learned over the years xanax is the worst med for anxiety. It works so well that when it wears of in a couple hours you have anxiety 2 times as bad as before you take the meds. Ive found that Klonopin in small doses through the day with a little more at bedtime keeps you more smoothed out to keep you from panicking. From my experiances anyway. Then at 40 you kinda also get the attitude of just not careing what other people thinks. Anyone out there that is fighting with anxiety keep fighting you can win. Its a long hard road but it can be done. Everyone just keep on keeping on you will win !!!

Glad things are working out for you. Xanax did nada for me. Had no effect one way or the other. I take clonazepam also. About the same .5mg dosage as I took when it was first prescribed around 20 years ago. There are many tools in the fight against generalized anxiety. Physical activity helps me a lot. I don't care much what people think of me either

Glad to know that you are overcoming it. For me I used ativan, which I just left this last week. Been a little hard because the mood swings and sleep problems. Thank you for your message to overcome anxiety. It fills me with hope.
