Have you heard about the Results Project by Steve Plog? I sort of stumbled acrossed it. I felt he was very one sided in his explanation for what ADHD is and how to handle it. I got the feeling he was just pushing his program. A lot of the stuff on the site seems a lot like rants and anger pointed at schools, the medical community, and even the government. I felt he was venting some frustrations. I feel the schools, medical community, and even the government are not anti-ADHD or pro-ADHD. The are some teachers and doctors out there who do "get" it and they are soo helpful. There's also some helpful laws that protect the rights of people with ADHD. So all the animosity directed towards those orginizations was not completely fair.

It is his own program, based on his own experiences and thus kind of "one-sided", anti-establishment/CHADD, etc. It's an all-or-nothing approach. I don't think any one person or group has things correctly; it's like they're just finding that no particular kind of psychotherapy or diet or whatever works better than other kinds. One has to kind of just go with whatever one find that helps in their own case. He goes on about being tested for ADD/ADHD, not just letting a doctor/psychatrist "tell" you from an interview that you have it (what happened to him) but I think he uses some non-proven tests like hair analysis, etc.
