Does effexor treat adhd cause my doctor gave this me with zoloft and gabapentin .

You might want to get a second opinion about that particular combination of meds, unless you're in physical pain.

Those all work as anti-depressants and mood stabilizers. Not really adhd meds.

I had a dr too, that wanted to try anything but stimulants, he just had something against them and I tried zoloft, my psychotherapist was recommending ritalin, but dr was against it. He referred me to a psychiatrist who agreed with the recommendation of ritalin, later changed to adderall, which has worked much better for me.

My doctor would not give me ritalin either.
