I have a lot of dx, however ADD/ADHD is not one of them...yet. The symptoms are a significant problem, yet every time I ask my psychiatrist to at least, for god's sake TEST ME, she changes the subject! I'm not a hypochondriac, I've been put on medication for concentration before, but it didn't work so they took me off it without adding anything else in its place. My brother is diagnosed with ADD, and I'm positive that there are others in my family with it, so why is she ignoring it?? Whenever I ask her about things like this (for one, I'm almost always right because I research things before asking), she always seems to at least listen. How do I get her to help me on this?? It's really becoming quite a problem...
Thanks

I've been seeing this pdoc for over three years, and I've seen 10 different pdocs before, so I highly doubt my parents will be willing to let me change
![]() My brother was on Adderall, I don't know (or don't care?) whether he is on meds for it now. But yeah, he does have the same general symptoms as me, although his have seemed to be more controlled since he started the Adderall.
