Has anyone taken Vyvanse, and if so, what did you think of it? Did it help your symptoms??

My daughter was on vyvance and it worked, but it suppressed her appetite to the point that she wouldn't take it anymore. We are switching to concerta (I think).

My son takes Vyvanse. He says it makes him tired, but otherwise it works well for him.

Yep, I've taken it. It helped with some of my symptoms. enough for me to notice it when it wasn't there. It helped with impulsitivity, and many others. It didn't kick in right away so i would take it 2 hours before i had to be up and awake..

Sometimes nothing seems to help me. I took Vyvanse and I didnt get accomplished what I wanted to at times. But, I think I have depression problems that interfere with the success of ADHD medicines.

Vyvanse literally SAVED my life, in every way. I couldn't function at home, school, in relationships, ANYTHING. Different medicines work for different people. My two brothers also have severe ADHD but Vyvanse only works for me. In my experience, it wakes my brain up, & calms it down. It helps me to think clearly. Because when I'm not thinking clearly, I literally act like a maniac. If i had to rate Vyvanse on a scale, I would say 10/10, absolutely amazing. But other people might not. My bestfriend also has ADHD, and she takes it and loves it as well. Then again my brothers actually act worse on it, so you never know.
