Does Ritalin cause one to be on the look out for illegal drugs, if they have done, or have had an addiction to them before? Or give them the tendency to drink more, or crush and snort the Ritalin or other drugs? Just curious. Something I read.

Ritalin is unfortunately abused by people who take it not because they have ADHD but because they are addicts and are going for a high. I would suspect it works like most abused substances in that people who are addicts will seek that high wherever they can get it.
