is there one? im still on a quest to figure out what exactly is wrong with me (unless it really is ADD)

first of all, impulsiveness definatly is not the issue. most of the things that i think of when i think of my antisocial behavior happened over and over again. i sort of thought i might have antisocial personality disorder, but i realized that i can feel empathy, and can feel in general. plus i think im capable of feeling guilt but there have been plenty of times when ive done something horrible, without any guilt. so im not sure about the guilt thing.

so basically my symptoms as a kid were:

*complete lack of respect for others rights (heres an example: between 9 and 12 years old i would go to my moms office with her, and would dig though everyone elses desks and take anything that intrests me, and with no conflict doing so. i did this and other similar things over again. heres another example. freshman year of high school i had this 2 week work packet due for a class. i didnt do it. what i did was take someone elses packet out of the drop box and erased their name, and put mine on it. i know, thats horrible right?!? so actions like this are what im talking about. )

*extreme self-centered-ness

*tormented my pets

anyway im seeing a Doc monday. being tested for "everything" since ii nearly flunked out of high school again and my moms worried about me. so i guess I'll just find out for sure then.

in the other thread 3 people told me i dont have antisocial personality disorder. which makes me confused because then what does explain these symptoms? heres the thread

My understanding is that a lot of people with Anti-Social Personality Disorder also have AD/HD but most people with AD/HD don't have ASPD.

It sounds like you live in the moment like many people with AD/HD.

If you truely had ASPD you probably wouldn't be concerned you have it.
