Hey loves!

So I know I was completely down in the dumps about everything and wasn't sure how to pull myself back up. I decided to move up my ADD evaluation appointment by 2 weeks and got an appointment today! I was officially diagnosed with ADD and am a low dose (10 mg) of Adderall for a max of 3 times per day. I have taken 2 so far, and although the first one didn't really affect me, I am feeling SO much better. Like, I can't even describe it. I don't waste time feeling overwhelmed and am able to concentrate longer on the task at hand instead of staring at it, getting sad, and distracting myself. My focus still isn't perfect, but it got SO much better. I already got one assignment done that I would have ordinarily put off and been anxious about while working through.

I just needed to share because you guys have been SO SUPPORTIVE, and without you, I probably would have let this go and labeled it as an anxiety symptom that I have to suffer through forever. Ahhhhh! I wish I knew this sooner, but I am so blessed that my therapist finally figured it out.

If you wouldn't mind saying a prayer for me that my university allows me to switch up my schedule to take an easier-to-handle class instead of the overwhelming one that I am currently in, I would greatly appreciate it. I feel like it would help keep my spirits up, increase my productivity, and help me to stay balanced. It comes down to what my school will allow me to do, but I am praying that they see that I have a valid excuse for needing to switch and can't drop down to part-time. That's the main thing stressing me out right now. Other than that, everything seems like it is falling into place and working out in my favor. I can totally do this, you guys.

I love you all so very much, and you will all continue to be in my prayers. Never forget how beautiful you are and how much better your life can be. I truly 1000000000% believe in that. Always.

Love,
Little Ms. Sunshine

This is great! If you really did not notice the first Adderall, the dose might be too low. 10mg is a low dose. I take 20mg 3 times a day and I know they prescribe up to 30mg 3x day.

Believe me once you get to dosage right and settle in to the new way you feel, things will get so much better
