Is anyone taking either the original Concerta [from the original company] or the newer one that other companies are making...?

I have a prescript for Concerta here and am about to get it filled. It's the 'original' whatever that means really.

Anyway general thoughts. Help much? Hinder? I'm going to pick them up right now. Heh...back in 1/2 hr....with a pill in my belly. Really revved up about this...hope all is smooth...hell I'll put up with relatively bumpy if it helps.

I've taken the original. it worked well for me.

i think the only diferent between the two would be $$, the original can be a whole lot more, especially because stimulants are in such high demand.

Thanks Miswimmy1,...just took my first pill. noon isn't recommended but i couldn't help myself. it'll be fine i guess. The rest will be in the mornings as i work out my sleep cycle.[w/aid of sleeping pills for now]

Prob. won't notice any change on the 18mg but I was too curious not to pop one. 2 wks of 18 then 2 of 27, 2 of 36 and a month of 54. I'll be seeing my doc in 6 weeks to monitor what needs monitoring I suppose.
