From an article on the PC home page: "Autism, Asperger’s and ADHD are all mental health disorders on the Autism spectrum. As such, these diagnosis indicate a spectrum of needs ranging from a great deal of support to some training and mild stimulant medication". Since when is ADHD an autistic disorder?

I believe ADD is in the Autism Spectrum. I know I've read this in many books/articles.

I could not deal with my ADD without reading/posting/support and the stimulants. Well, it could be done as I did this for 43 years, but I'll never willingly go back to life without the meds.

Thanks for this!

ADHD is not on the autism spectrum. See the DSM for that if you still have doubt. I looked at that "article" you mentioned and it's only a blog, just a person's opinion. One never knows how informed/misinformed a blogger will be, so read blogs with a grain of salt.

ADD is not on the autism spectrum. But there are tons of people who are sort of inbetween, who have some ADD traits and atypical autism. So no matter if ADD is not autism I think they sort of live next door to each other.

That's a good point though - should there be a blog stating that on the PC home page??? I think that's the OP's complaint.
