I saw that other thread had these and I think it would be a good thing to have in here for people to be supportive for either good or bad days that people are having.

Hopefully this ok with mods.

I had a good session with my psychiatrist yesterday. I mostly talked. But it was good. Chipping away slowly at things.

Keep chipping away at it. You chip away at something everyday I will do the same and we will chip away at something together without being in the same household

lol well got around to cleaning the HELL out of my car today...but kinda sadly its due to I'm probably getting a new one tomorrow.
its only a car but I am sad to see it go. House looks kind of clutter as hell like usually eventually will get to cleaning it well also. Just keep telling mysefl its a prority and it does matter.

I am hoping next month when I get new meds that might help with my distractions.

mad at self today. got out of the house but then had car issues come up. And now I have not been able to get clutter taken care of in my house, and its been piling up really, really badly lately.
I have a friend coming up from st.louis this weekend so I feel sort of rushed to get the clutter in my room taken care of which simply adds to the stress

I certainly know how that can be. My father usually gets on me about my room, but he has backed off, when he is giving house tours to friends he has over. He skip's my room .

On a side tangent, has anyone ever been somewhere say like in a class or at the mall or something and you overhear someone talking about adhd and how there child is getting tested since they are having trouble in school and from being bored etc.

Well anyway this was the situation in my class last night, My teachers son was is being tested by the school mental health team since he is bored does no homework, gets in trouble, etc. She seems resistant to the idea of letting them proceed forward with doing all the testing saying that if he is bored the school needs to challenge him, he is very bright and has done well on the testing so far, but they he has an attention problem. She does not want him on medication, which to me seems so unfortunate if it turns out he in fact does have it, it is not the
cure all but it opens so many doors to the brain and lets us harness our energy if it does work better then without. She worked in the medical field before moving on and teaching instead, she is for treating medical conditions, it just makes my blood boil when she talks about it because it is also a medical condition, treat it as one, I think it can be life ruining if all aspects of treatment are not embraced, I try to ignore it but it is so hard because I feel that she is talking about me. Probably unfounded that I even care or let it get to me but I cannot help it. Shes knows about me because I had to let her know since I was doing a drug screen for my background, but if I had not had to tell her she would never have known, but she acts like letting her kid take medication is just gonna make him an emotionless pile of human that sits in the back of the class to rot away. It just fires me up to know end and I just want to explode on her. I don't but geesh.

ok off my soap box.
