It was a good day. So my favorite class is biology. And I was really looking forward to the class because I like the teacher a lot. She's off the wall and kind of insane but I love her. Anyway, she added huge bouncy balls to her classroom this year, to be in place of chairs for those who would prefer to sit on a ball. She said that she knows how some people need to move, or learn best while being active and that she wanted to do something for those people. So she lets u bounce! There is no "stop fidgeting" and no "sit still and listen". It's amazing. It's not an accommodation or anything I asked for... It was just her insight. I can already tell this class will be my favorite class. And better yet, it's on the same day as I have my hardest class, so I will be able to de-stress!

This was something I would have never expected, being at a very rigorous college prep private school full of high achieving students. It's not an alternative school or anything. I think it's great that they are trying to meet the needs and learning styles of everyone.

Good to hear that there are teachers out there who can detect their students needs and provide such a unique learning environment. I wish you the best for the remainder of your education.
