In Driven to Distraction, the only book that I have so far read on ADHD, they say that part of ADHD symptoms are:

- almost a constant sense of noise or inner chaos
- socially never really feel like we belong anywhere

And yet, the treatment that they suggest for ADHD - one of the best things that you can do is to find support. Find support from people. How do we do that? Where can you go? I live in a small town/by a small city (pop. 80,000) in Canada. There are no support groups nearby. I've checked. And yes, it's stupid.

So is there a good place for ADHD ppl to go to meet other people? Like... coffee shops or indoor soccer leagues.. or what?

Can you find it online?

I think I've found it here. I have never really met others who seems like myself with ADD. Then as I have thought about it maybe because I didn't try to dig deep enough. Which I am at fault at. I usually try not to "dig" to deeply into others personalities as I don't want to take the time or to allow them that deep into mine. In fact I think my current boyfriend is the only person that I wanted to know more about his personality.

As we seem so alike yet he was very shy. I'm his first official girlfriend and I met him when he was 26. He loves me because of who I am from day one. We met online but fall for each other e-mails and then as we got to know one another we found out that some of our favorite things from childhood were the same. *added stuff that really doesn't fit point*

Point is I think if you can't find it in real life and really need it you find it anyway that you can. What I can say if coffee shops are nice to hang in but I'm usually by myself so I people watch alot

Try an online service called Meetup.com. They often have groups that people didn't even know existed.
